Boris serves as VP Global Sector Technology and DHL Lead for the Semiconductor industry at DHL Customer Solutions & Innovation, where he spearheads the development of logistics strategies tailored to the semiconductor sector. With extensive experience in creating solutions for leading corporations across various industries, Boris has worked in different regions, leveraging his deep understanding of supply chains and senior executive relationships to address critical topics in the semiconductor world.
Previously, he was Vice President Americas for the Life Sciences and Healthcare sector. Since joining DHL in 2002, Boris has held various positions in contract logistics, commercial management, and sector development. He holds a diploma from the University of Mannheim and a master’s degree in International Management from the University of Gothenburg, enhancing his expertise in global logistics.
Shay Bar-El
Global Construction & New Build Logistics Manager Global Logistics Organization - Intel Corporation
Shay Bar-El is the Global Construction & New Build Logistics Manager within Intel Corporation’s Global Logistics Organization (GLO) and the Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations (MSO) division. In this role, he oversees logistics operations for all construction site expansion activities and manages the logistics setup for Intel’s new sites and builds.
With 17 years at Intel, Shay has held various positions in logistics and planning across EMEA, Asia, and the US. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and a Master’s degree in Business from Reichman University in Israel. Shay resides in Israel with his wife and two children.
Jake Swanson
Regional Vice President, Head of Americas Region - DHL Industrial Projects
Jake Swanson is the Regional Head of the Americas Region for DHL Industrial Projects. He has worked in the transportation and logistics industry for over 20 years and has experience on the shipper, carrier, and freight forwarder sides of the industry.
He graduated from the United States Merchant Marine Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Logistics and Intermodal Transportation and then spent a year sailing on container vessels. Swanson holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Houston.
