We gave logistics leaders from every facet of the luxury and Fashion world an exclusive opportunity to connect at our Luxury and Fashion Forums. This invitation-only, small-forum conferences offerd a unique opportunity to build a valuable network of thought leaders, innovators, industry analysts, and selected logistics experts from luxury and fashion organizations, hosted by DHL. We believe in the power of collaboration to deliver value – we share best practices, knowledge, and perspectives, and learn from each other’s experiences.
Our first event was held in Dubai, a location synonymous with luxury shopping experiences. Future Luxury & Fashion Forums are planned in Chicago, Cologne, and Singapore.

Amadou Diallo
Chief Executive Officer Middle East & Africa
Since June 2017 Amadou Diallo is CEO of DHL Global Forwarding Middle East & Africa. He is the founder of Saloodo! GmbH. He was previously CEO DHL Freight, CEO Africa and South Asia Pacific DHL Global Forwarding and prior to this Chief Financial Officer of DHL Logistics Divisions and Managing Director for the integration of Exel and DHL. Mr. Diallo has more than 25 years of experience in the tourism, banking, express and logistics industries. He is Senegalese and is fluent in several languages including English, German, French, Fulani, Wolof and Spanish. Mr. Diallo is Chairman of Amref in Germany and in the boards of Welthungerhilfe, Africa 2.0, Schiller International University.
Ben McLean
Head of eCommerce, DHL Express, UAE
Ben McLean is the Head of eCommerce at DHL Express UAE, part of the world's leading logistics company. With over 25 years of international experience in logistics and supply chain across Europe and the Middle East, he has held various roles in operations, commercial, and leadership. For the past six years, he has focused on the eCommerce and cross-border sectors, building a robust ecosystem of industry partners and experts. Ben aims to develop the UAE eCommerce market, supporting homegrown brands and global firms seeking expansion in the region. His track record showcases his commitment to delivering innovative solutions and driving growth for DHL Express customers.
Genia Mineeva
Founder of BEEN
Genia Mineeva, a former political journalist with the BBC, pivoted to campaigning for organizations like the UN and Change.org. Her passion for sustainability ignited when she learned about coffee cup waste and the lack of a market for recycled materials. This drove her to engage with recycling plants, material manufacturers, and sustainability experts, revealing untapped potential in 'waste.' Studying Sustainable Value Chains at Cambridge, she combined innovative design with local craftsmanship, leading to the launch of BEEN London’s first bag on Kickstarter after studying Accessories Design at the London College of Fashion.
