Weather conditions may delay transports to and from Italy

Heavy rainfall is expected in Northern Italy and South Tyrol during Easter weekend. Weather reports predict local flooding and landslides, and our rail operator is warning about potential rail traffic disruptions and train cancellations due to weather conditions. Some train departures will be cancelled anyway because of Easter holidays.

The majority of DHL Freight’s road freight between Finland and Italy travels partly by train; thus the situation may cause delays to trailer traffic in both import and export.
