DAVID BASSL APPOINTED CIO OF DHL SUPPLY CHAIN FRANCE

DHL Supply Chain announces the appointment of David Bassl as Chief Information Officer (CIO) France. He succeeds David Cikurel.

Currently Head of Project Delivery Nordics, David Bassl will take up his new position on 1 November 2023. He will report directly to Paolo Magnani, CIO EMEA, and functionally to Nico Schütz, CEO France.

Having founded his own IT company at the start of his career and then been responsible for logistics and planning projects at Weltbild Group, David Bassl joined the DHL Group in 2007 as an IT Project Manager at DHL Supply Chain Germany. He has extensive experience of leading international and cross-functional teams in major customer, IT and automation projects. 

David Bassl, 49, holds a degree in business administration from the AKAD University of Applied Science (Stuttgart, Germany).
