NICO SCHÜTZ APPOINTED HEAD OF DHL SUPPLY CHAIN FRANCE

Nico Schütz succeeds Jan Willem Winkelhuijzen as CEO of DHL Supply Chain France.

DHL Supply Chain, the global leader in logistics, announces the appointment of Nico Schütz as CEO of DHL Supply Chain France.   

Nico Schütz, previously CEO of DHL Supply Chain Middle East, succeeded Jan Willem Winkelhuijzen as CEO of DHL Supply Chain France on July 1, 2023. He continues to report to Hendrik Venter, CEO DHL Supply Chain EMEA, and remains a member of the DHL Supply Chain EMEA Management Board.

Nico Schütz, 44, began his career with DHL Group in 2006 in DHL Consulting. In 2012, he joined DHL Supply Chain and, in 2014, became VP Strategic Transformation EMEA, leading a large-scale transformation project for DHL Supply Chain EMEA and in particular France. In 2016, he became Managing Director of Slovakia and from 2019 of Hungary. In 2020, Nico moved to Germany as Business Unit Director. In November 2022, he became CEO in the Middle East, where he was given responsibility for logistics activities in Saudi Arabia and Oman, as well as management of the Procurement & Logistic Hub project with our partner Aramco.

Effective July 1, 2023, Jan Willem Winkelhuijzen has been appointed Chief Supply Chain Management Officer for the Procurement & Logistic Hub joint venture.
