DHL SUPPLY CHAIN ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF BECKY TAYLOR AS NEW CFO UK&I

Press Release: London, 10th June 2021

DHL Supply Chain has announced the appointment of Becky Taylor as CFO DHL Supply Chain, UK&I. Moving from her current position as VP Commercial DSC UK&I, she will be the first female to hold this post.

Becky has 19 years of experience in financial management gained from various roles within the DHL business. Starting her career in 2002 as a financial analyst, she has since held positions including VP Finance for the UK Life Sciences business during a period of six-fold profit growth, and in the Major Projects team working on transformational deals. Most recently, Becky created and led a new Commercial team for the UK&I business, which has been instrumental in supporting a number of large new business wins and renewals. In her new role Becky will focus on building DHL’s data-driven insight capabilities to support growth, while continuing to effectively manage risk, controls and compliance.

Commenting on her appointment, Becky said: “In such rapidly changing times, finance’s role in helping to drive forward the business is more important than ever before. While our digitalisation strategy will be critical on this journey, the most important factor will be our people. I know we have a finance team that is both talented and committed and it is an absolute privilege to have the opportunity to lead them.”

José Nava, CEO UK & Ireland, DHL Supply Chain added: “Becky has been a key member of the DHL family for nearly two decades, spearheading a number of important projects for the business. We are excited to see her move into this new role and I am confident that her passion, skills and experience make her the ideal person to lead the team in the next exciting phase of our journey.”

Becky will succeed Thorsten Kühl, who takes over the role of CFO DHL Supply Chain EMEA.
