In part two of our EV TV Formula E special, we discuss the sport’s origins with Jamie Riegle, CEO of Formula E. We talk to the racing teams and investigate the technological advances we can expect in the future. Formula E innovation has evolved faster than anyone could have predicted and is driving technological advances in production vehicles and encouraging the continued transition to electric Auto-Mobility.

DHL are proud to be the logistics operator behind Formula E sustainability and wrapping up this episode, Manuela Gianni, Head of DHL’s Motorsport Division, and Federico Cavani, Formula E Operations Specialist DHL, reveal the challenges, complexities and solutions needed to keep the events on track and In the big city centers delivered both efficiently and with environmental consideration.

Formula E is driving change in the motorsport industry and, just like F1, technical advances created for these cars will certainly make their way into consumer vehicles of the future.  The same is true for logistics.  Lessons learned in creating a net-zero carbon footprint for the world championships will be used to improve all aspects of future supply chains.
