DHL EXPRESS JAPAN APPOINTS CAPTAIN OF J-LEAGUE’S URAWA RED DIAMONDS, YUKI ABE AS BRAND AMBASSADOR 　　

DHL Express, the world’s leading international express service provider, has entered an agreement with Yuki Abe, J-League soccer player and captain of Urawa Red Diamonds (Urawa Reds) as its new brand ambassador. 

Known for his energetic playing style and hard work on the pitch, Yuki Abe, a defense player and the captain of Urawa Reds, embodies DHL Express’s spirit and values. With experience in several international matches, the 40-year-old veteran has spent the entire 15 years of his career at Urawa Reds. At the same time, DHL Express Japan has also been a partner of Urawa Reds for 15 years since 2007.

Yuki Abe, captain of Urawa Red Diamonds, said, “I’m very thrilled to be appointed as brand ambassador of DHL Express Japan which has a global market presence. I’m going to make every effort in and out of the field to show speed, passion and teamwork that are inherent to DHL  Express’s business. “

Mr. Abe will engage in DHL Express’s publicity activities and corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities throughout the 2021 season. DHL Express’s collaboration with the Urawa Reds extends beyond the football pitch, including support for the team’s CSR activities and international exchange programs throughout Japan and Asia. 

In commemoration of Yuki Abe's appointment as a DHL Japan brand ambassador, DHL will be running giveaway campaign from June 22, in conjunction with Yuki Abe's uniform number "22". In addition, a special page for DHL x Urawa Reds will be released in SOCCERKING, a specialized soccer online media, and various contents will be released starting from July.
