DHL Express, the world’s leading international express service provider, has been recognized as Japan Top Employer 2022 for the second consecutive year. DHL Express once again received high ratings in business and HR strategies, management and corporate culture, and business ethics. Tony Khan, President and Representative Director of DHL Express Japan said, “As an international logistics company, employees is our greatest asset and the driving force of our daily operation which enables our corporate purpose of "Connecting People, Improving Lives". We are very proud to be certified as the Japan Top Employer for the second consecutive year as a result of our efforts to become an “Employer of Choice for our employees.”

The employees serve as the building block of DHL's global network – which is one of the largest networks in the world – and enables DHL to differentiate from other companies in terms of service quality. Accordingly, becoming the Employer of Choice is one of the objectives that DHL had set as part of its corporate strategies.

The company annually invests a double-digit million Euro amount in its employees in more than 220 countries and territories worldwide, and rolls out HR leadership development and talent growth programs worldwide including Certified International Specialist (CIS) and Certified International Manager (CIM). The Top Employer certifications confirm that the personnel and economic effort and the long-term employees’ retention are highly valued in the competition.

The Top Employers Institute, based in Amsterdam, certifies organizations based on the participation and results of their HR Best Practices Survey which evaluates companies in 20 categories, ranging from attracting and promoting talent to leadership behavior and the company's performance in the area of sustainability to dealing with employees who leave the company.
