In January this year, SCREEN received renewed approval from the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) on its updated targets for reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by FY2030. SCREEN has now received approval for new targets consistent with the level required to keep the global temperature rise to 1.5ºC. Adopting GoGreen Plus will further help the company reduce the emissions of Category 9, Transportation and Delivery, in its Scope 3.
Under Mission 2050, which aims to achieve net-zero logistics-related emissions by 2050, DHL Express has been working towards electrifying its delivery vehicles worldwide, using SAF for air transportation, and promoting carbon neutrality in its facilities. With GoGreen Plus, customers can choose the amount of SAF according to their needs, including the extent of carbon reduction, the availability of certificates and reporting tools.
