DHL Express Ranked Second Place by Great Place to Work® in Japan

DHL Express, the world’s leading international express service provider, has been named Japan’s Best Workplace 2024 by Great Place to Work® Institute Japan (GPTW) for the twelfth consecutive year. DHL Express Japan was ranked second place among in the large companies category (over 1,000 employees).
As the company aims to be an "Employer of Choice", DHL believes that high employee satisfaction and motivation will help to ensure that they deliver exceptional customer service quality. To achieve “a great place to work” employees, DHL continuously improves the workplace environment based on the results of its annual "Employee Opinion Survey", which is conducted on 600,000 employees around the world.
In addition, DHL Asia Cup 2023, an internal sports competition in which employees from different countries compete in soccer and cheerleading, returned for the first time in four years. It aims to encourage interaction between employees from different countries who usually could not meet each other, significantly contributing to employee engagement. Fifty eight DHL employees from Japan participated in the event held in Singapore. DHL’s entry in the "Great Place to Work" ranking is a recognition of these past efforts to improve engagement.

The ranking was decided based on an annual survey conducted by Great Place to Work® Institute Japan the global authority on workplace culture. The survey collects responses from more than 10 million employees in 10,000 companies in approximately 100 countries. The top 100 companies are announced in each country based on the survey result.
