DHL Express Japan Extends Partnership With J.League's Urawa Red Diamonds for Two Further Seasons

DHL Express, the world’s leading international express service provider, announced today that it has renewed its partnership with MEIJI YASUDA J1-League football club, Urawa Red Diamonds (Urawa Reds), extending it until the 2026-2027 season. The contract spans two and a half years, with the partnership reaching its 19th year in the 2025 season and its 20th anniversary in the 2026-2027 season. DHL will also continue to support Urawa Red’s community program, the Urawa Reds “Heart-full Club”, which aims to support children's education through football classes.

DHL Express Japan is one of the top partners of the Urawa Reds. The partnership began in 2007, when the club became the first Japanese team to participate in the AFC Champions League before winning the title. The partnership was founded on shared values, with DHL Express’ principles of speed and passion aligning with the Urawa Reds’. Additionally, both organizations are committed to creating a better, richer society through sports, in line with DHL’s purpose: "Connecting People, Improving Lives."  Over the years, the scope of this partnership has expanded beyond football to include various social contribution projects and international exchange activities undertaken by the Urawa Reds, particularly overseas.
