DHL Forges Strategic Partnership With Hanjin Co., Ltd.
Collaboration with DHL Supply Chain Korea to create synergies and expand logistics network, enhancing competitiveness

DHL Supply Chain, the global leader in contract logistics, has formed a strategic partnership South Korea's prominent logistics provider, Hanjin Co., Ltd. Hanjin Co., Ltd. President & CEO Noh Sam- Sug and President & CMO Emily Jo, along with DHL Supply Chain Japan-Korea Cluster President Jerome Gillet and DHL Supply Chain Korea CEO Edmund Hsiung Tze Hui, signed the agreement at the Hanjin Building in Jung-gu, Seoul on November 21.
Hanjin and DHL Supply Chain Korea plan to strengthen synergies across key industries including pharmaceuticals, semiconductors, consumer retail, automotive, and green logistics. Key initiatives include:
- Expanding joint business with new customers
- Providing operational service capabilities in terms of vehicles, facilities, and manpower
- Establishing dedicated support for new hubs
- Improving logistics efficiency for existing clients
- Advancing sustainability with investments in EVs and eco-friendly packaging
Since May 2024, Hanjin and DHL Supply Chain Korea have jointly handled distribution for DHL clients, attracting new customers and driving operational efficiency. This alliance will continue to boost delivery networks and optimize hub utilization to create growth.
A representative from Hanjin stated, "Through collaboration with DHL Supply Chain Korea, we will enhance our competitiveness in the logistics market and provide optimized logistics solutions tailored to customer needs."
