MODERN WAREHOUSE CENTER TO COMMEMORATE THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY OF COOPERATION DHL SUPPLY CHAIN AND HENKEL

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of cooperation between DHL Supply Chain and Henkel, a new warehouse center has been opened in Racibórz, Poland. The modern and ecological 9,000-square-meter facility is part of an existing complex, where the global logistics operator conducts operations for the manufacturer of household chemicals. Logicor is the developer of the facility.

The newly opened warehouse center was built next to the already operating hall, which occupies an area of 22 thousand square meters. The modern warehouse, where DHL Supply Chain will carry out further operations for the household chemicals giant, was designed and built in compliance with ESG standards. The facility in Raciborz is environmentally friendly, saves energy, ensures the rational use of resources and allows for comfortable and safe operation. All these elements are common denominators for the activities of DHL Supply Chain, Henkel and Logicor. The opening of the new warehouse also coincided with the logistics operator extending the lease agreement for the space it has been occupying so far.

The new warehouse module will support the dynamic development of Henkel, which consistently - for more than 30 years - has been developing the potential of its Racibórz plants. In the last four years alone the company invested twice in the factory near the Czech border. The company spent over PLN 100 million on new halls and production lines, which allow for the manufacturing of a completely new assortment. The flagships of the newly opened warehouse include: LED lighting based on a DALI control system, smart metering systems or photovoltaic panels on the roof with installed power of 50 kWp. In addition, work in the facility will be supported by Signu Smart Security Desk innovative technology, which through automation will significantly improve the movement and operations in the complex.
