Delivering on Circularity

Pathways for Consumer Electronics

The circular economy is increasingly important in the technology industry, with major players actively addressing its challenges. Companies are adjusting their production processes and exploring ways to recover old devices from customers, giving them a second life or reclaiming valuable parts. This shift reflects a growing commitment to sustainability and responsible resource management.

At this event, we were joined by Claudia Contreras-Gomez, Executive Director of Global Sustainability Services at Lenovo; Jack Allen, Head of Supply Chain Sustainability, Circular Economy, Security, Risk, and Resiliency at Cisco Systems; and Scott Allison, Chief Commercial Officer at DHL Service Logistics, DHL Supply Chain. Together, we discussed how companies are tackling the challenges of the circular economy and explored the main hurdles and potential solutions for rolling out and scaling up circular economy initiatives.
