DHL EXPRESS TAIWAN TO EXTEND PARTNERSHIP WITH GARENA ARENA OF VALOR IN THE ESPORTS INDUSTRY

This is DHL Express’ first partnership in esports in Taiwan, in line with DHL’s successful esports partnership globally

DHL Express, the world's leading international express service provider, announced its partnership with the leading e-sports “Garena Arena of Valor”, marking DHL Express’ first esports partnership in Taiwan following its global involvement in esports industry.

DHL Express Taiwan and “Garena Arena of Valor” announced the new partnership at a press conference presided by Yung C. Ooi,  Managing Director, DHL Express Taiwan, and Ihsuan Chen, Director of Garena Taiwan. As part of this collaboration, DHL Express will not only sponsor the winning teams from the Garena Challenger Series (GCS) Taiwan Tournament to compete in the 2021 Arena of Valor International Tournament (AIC), but also sponsor the 2022 Arena of Valor Campus Series (ACS) to support rising talents on their ambitious journey in esports.

In addition to sponsoring the tournaments, DHL Express will support the interactive events that will invite Garena tournament players and celebrities from Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam to exchange Christmas gifts and join cosplay challenges. The gifts and cosplay costumes will be delivered to participants by DHL Express to facilitate these interactive experiences.

DHL Express has established successful crossover partnership worldwide. Before the sponsorship with Garena Arena of Valor in Taiwan, DHL has been supporting the esports industry and has been the Official Logistics Partner to ESL Gaming, the world's largest esports company, since 2018.
