DHL EXPRESS TAIWAN APPOINTS NG CHEE CHOONG AS MANAGING DIRECTOR

DHL Express, the world’s leading international express service provider, announced today that it has appointed Ng Chee Choong as the Managing Director of DHL Express Taiwan. With more than 20 years of experience in the logistics industry, Chee Choong will continue to drive the strategic growth of Taiwan. He succeeds Yung Chiun Ooi, who takes over as Senior Vice President for Commercial in Asia Pacific, DHL Express. 

Chee Choong was most recently Managing Director of DHL Express Hong Kong and Macau, where he spearheaded DHL Express’ success in Hong Kong and Macau through socio-political challenges and Covid-19 pandemic. In his new role, Chee Choong will lead the team in Taiwan to continuously provide quality delivery service, accelerate green logistics via sustainable solutions and reinforce the position of DHL Express as the market leader.

Chee Choong joined DHL Express in 2004 and held various operational roles. In 2017, he took over as Vice President for Operations Hong Kong, and then as Managing Director for DHL Express Hong Kong and Macau in 2020.

With more than 9,000 service points and retail outlets, DHL Taiwan has an extensive network connectivity that plays a vital role in Taiwan’s rapid economic development.
