Tom van Woensel

European Supply Chain Forum

Tom Van Woensel is a Full Professor of Freight Transport and Logistics at the Technische Universiteit Eindhoven in the OPAC group of the Department of Industrial Engineering and Innovation Sciences. He supervises around 20 Ph.D. students, focusing on Operations Research models for various Transport and Logistics issues. With a solid academic foundation in Transport, Logistics, and Supply Chains, he actively pursues professional growth to stay updated on industry trends. His blend of academic expertise and leadership skills enables him to tackle complex challenges and foster organizational success.

Markus Fillibeck

TU Eindhoven

Markus is a recent graduate with a master's degree in Operations Management and Logistics from the Technical University Eindhoven. He focused on sustainable supply chains and the balance between economic and environmental objectives. In his master’s thesis, he explored logistics as an enabler of the circular economy in collaboration with DHL and the European Supply Chain Forum. This research provides valuable insights for stakeholders, including manufacturers, logistics providers, and consumers. After gaining consulting experience, Markus is eager to begin his career and drive sustainability transformation in global supply chains.

Mirella Muller-Wuellenweber

DHL Group

Mirella leads a global team at DHL Customer Solutions & Innovation (CSI) that serves the company’s top customers in online marketplaces, fashion, and luxury. Her team simplifies the customer experience by offering a single point of contact across all DHL divisions. With a keen understanding of e-commerce's transformative potential, Mirella has significantly contributed to building DHL’s e-commerce capabilities. Previously, she was Vice President of DHL Global E-commerce and has held various senior leadership roles in sales and team management while living and working globally.
