Leading Contract Logistics Provider in North America Honors Top Transportation Partners at 6th Annual Carrier Summit

DHL Supply Chain, the Americas leader in contract logistics and part of Deutsche Post DHL Group, recognized its best-performing ground transportation partners in the North American market at its 6th annual Carrier Summit in March. The event brought together representatives of over 70 North American carriers and senior leaders from DHL Supply Chain’s Transportation sector for a discussion of strategy, collaboration and best practices.

  • Regional LTL Carrier of the Year: Dayton Freight Lines
  • National LTL Carrier of the Year: Old Dominion Freight Lines
  • Canadian Truckload Carrier of the Year: Kriska Transportation
  • Intermodal Carrier of the Year: Target Transportation
  • Home Delivery Network Carrier of the Year: Fidelitone 
  • National Flatbed Carrier of the Year: Smokey Point
  • Regional Flatbed Carrier of the Year: Tennessee Steel Haulers
  • Cross-border Flatbed Carrier of the Year: Western Express

Each of the companies recognized at the Carrier Summit consistently outperformed in 2019 against a range of KPIs tracked by DHL Supply Chain, including tender acceptance, on-time pick-up and delivery, adherence to safety standards, flexibility and customer orientation.
