DHL SUPPLY CHAIN RECLAIMS TOYOTA ‘CARRIER OF THE YEAR’ AWARD

For the second consecutive year, DHL Supply Chain, the North American contract logistics leader, has received the ‘Parts Supply Chain - Service Parts Dealer Delivery’ award from Toyota Motors North America, Inc. DHL Supply Chain was chosen to win the award for 2020 and again in 2021.

DHL Supply Chain has been providing Toyota transportation and warehouse management services since July 2020 out of Phoenix, AZ. The distribution center services over 50 Toyota and Lexus dealers across the southwestern region, including Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Utah, Nevada, and Colorado. Since the partnership began Toyota has seen consistently high on-time delivery performance and continued collaboration with Toyota to improve the service and quality of delivery to their dealer network.

Toyota selects four winners for its awards annually to recognize outstanding transportation service providers who support their North American parts operations. Winners are selected based on each carrier’s performance in areas such as on-time delivery and pickup, safety, problem-solving capabilities, damage prevention, and equipment availability, among others. Toyota also evaluates carriers on their ability to embrace kaizen or a focus on continuous improvement in their service.
