How is the company structured?
Our parent company is Deutsche Post DHL Group, with global headquarters in Bonn, Germany. Deutsche Post is Europe’s largest postal service provider, and DHL has four main Divisions: DHL Express is the No. 1 international express delivery provider, DHL Global Forwarding and DHL Freight are leaders in the global forwarding business, DHL eCommerce has domestic last-mile parcel delivery at its core, and DHL Supply Chain is the No. 1 contract logistics supplier in the world.
What full time positions are available in DHL Supply Chain for college recruits?
We are able to hire a college recruit into nearly any entry-level position in the organization. In addition to Operations Supervisors this includes, but is not limited to, Transportation Supervisors, Implementation Analysts, Logistics Planners, Industrial Engineers and Operations Systems Analysts.
Does DHL Supply Chain hire interns?
Yes, student jobs are part of a formal summer internship program. Most of the internship roles we hire for are Operations Interns. These are Students who work at one of our warehouse/distribution centers throughout the summer, working on process improvement projects. In addition to Operations Interns, we also hire Finance and Accounting Interns, Industrial Engineering Interns, Implementation Analyst Interns, Operations Systems Analyst Interns and Human Resources Interns. All interns participate in our formal internship program, which includes professional development workshops, a Speakers Series and a capstone project.
Where are the locations and areas of focus?
DHL Supply Chain North America has over 400 locations throughout the US and Canada, and we serve over 235 different customers. Our larger campus locations include Columbus, OH, where our North American headquarters is located; Chicago, IL; Mechanicsburg, PA; Atlanta, GA; Memphis, TN; Dallas, TX; Houston, TX; Southern California and Northern California; Toronto, ON; Calgary, AB; and, Edmonton, AB. Our customer base is broken down into eight different sectors, which include Consumer, E-commerce Fulfillment, Retail, Automotive, Engineering and Manufacturing, Technology and Service Logistics, Life Sciences and Healthcare, and Chemicals and Energy.

What do I do after I submit my resume?
Due to the high volume of applications, we cannot respond to every resume submission. If your background is determined to be a good fit for the opportunities we have available, you will be contacted directly by the College Recruiting team.
What are the steps in the DHL Supply Chain hiring process?
This depends on the time of year; however, the first step of the DHL Supply Chain hiring process is either a phone interview or an on-campus interview, where you can expect to discuss with either a recruiter or a business leader your background, experience, and the position. If it seems that the position may be a good fit for you, you will be invited to an interview at a site, or attend a College Day at one of our regional campuses. College Day is an event which includes site tours of our facilities and networking opportunities, designed to provide you with a realistic job preview and immerse you in our culture. College Day also includes a series of interviews and a presentation by each candidate.
Does DHL Supply Chain offer tuition reimbursement?
After you complete your first year at DHL Supply Chain, you will be eligible for tuition reimbursement. Your area of study must be related to our business, and you must maintain the required grades.
DHL Supply Chain is not scheduled to visit my school. Can I still be considered for employment?

Can college recruits work with DHL Supply Chain internationally?
While DHL Supply Chain is an international company, our focus for our full-time roles lies within North America. In order for an international candidate to work in the U.S., they must prove they are a subject matter expert in the role in which they apply for in the DHL Supply Chain hiring process, and that the company is unable to find another local candidate with that skill set.
What are some digitalization efforts that DHL Supply Chain is focusing on?
DHL Supply Chain is currently implementing several different digitalization solutions, including using robots that work alongside site-level associates with picking and packing efforts, the use of drones in inventory control and utilizing vision picking glasses. We have recently purchased ten automated Tesla trucks for future use in our transportation division.
