DHL Express Appoints Geoff Walsh as New CEO in Canada

• Geoff Walsh, with over 30 years of experience in various roles within DHL, has been appointed as the new CEO of DHL Express Canada.
• Andrew Williams, former CEO of DHL Express Canada, was appointed as the new Regional CEO for the Americas since January 1st, 2024.

DHL Express, the world’s leading international express service provider, has announced the appointment of Geoff Walsh as the new Chief Executive Officer in Canada, effective February 1st, 2024. In this role, Geoff will oversee the company’s strategic direction in the dynamic Canadian market, with a particular focus on commercial growth, operational and service excellence, further developing the potential of the DHL Express Canada team and promoting sustainable transport solutions while continuing to be a great place to work for all.

Geoff Walsh joins DHL Express Canada with an extensive background in the logistics industry, having worked with DHL for over 30 years. He began his career as a courier in the UK in 1995 and has since held various operational roles with increasing responsibilities. In 2000, he moved to the UAE, where he served as an Area and Country Operations Manager. He subsequently held international management positions such as Road Network Manager and Country Manager in Oman, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. In 2022, he relocated to the United States, assuming the role of General Manager, Midwest Area at DHL Express U.S.

Geoff Walsh's appointment follows the transition of Andrew Williams, the former CEO of DHL Express Canada, who has been appointed as the new Regional CEO for Americas, effective January 1st, 2024.

DHL Express Canada employs more than 2,700 international specialists who serve more than 50,000 customers. He will be based at the DHL Express headquarters in Toronto, Canada.
