SUPPORT THOSE IN NEED

Up to 800 men, women and children in need regularly come to the local food charity Delitzscher Tafel to get food for little money. The employees of the Delitzscher Tafel collect the food at supermarkets, sort it, prepare it and organize the distribution. The Delitzscher Tafel receives active support from our employees at the DHL Hub Leipzig. We are proud and happy that many of our employees volunteer their time to serve food, plan Christmas parties and collect donations, but also talk to the visitors. At the tenth anniversary of the Delitzscher Tafel, DHL employees were also on site and helped make the day an unforgettable experience for the visitors.

We want to support the region with a long-term and sustainable social commitment. That's why DHL Hub Leipzig is involved in projects like the Delitzscher Tafel. With this financial support, we want to ensure that the facility has sufficient funds to transport the food as well as for its organizational tasks. — Stefan Macourek
