DHL CERTIFIED AS ONE OF SWEDEN'S LEADING EMPLOYERS

Press Release: 25. January 2024

DHL consolidates its position as one of the best employers in Sweden. The business has once again been certified as Top Employer Sweden. DHL continues to see strong development in areas such as skills development, leadership, diversity and inclusion, and well-being.

"It is with equal parts joy and pride that we receive this acknowledgement that DHL is an attractive and sustainable employer. External certification shows that our joint work is yielding results and that we are working in the right direction. A good working environment and committed employees are the foundation for success and quality in our business," says Robert Zander, CEO DHL Freight Sweden.

The Certified Excellence in Employee Conditions Award is given by the Top Employers Institute, and DHL Group undergoes the certification globally.

The Institute conducts an in-depth review of the organisation's staff-related processes in six areas: Steer, shape, attract, develop, engage and unite. It states that the divisions DHL Express, DHL Freight, DHL Global Forwarding and DHL Supply Chain meet the requirements in all areas and qualify to use the certification in Sweden in 2024.

Since 2015, DHL has received the certification in parts of its Swedish operations, and for 2024, all of DHL Sweden is now certified. The year's results show a continued positive trend. For example, focus areas such as skills development, leadership, diversity and inclusion, and well-being are highly rated by the Top Employers Institute auditors.

DHL Group is also strengthening its status as one of the best global employers. As of 2024, the group has 128 certified companies in 69 countries. Compared to the previous year, DHL Group achieved even better results in several evaluation criteria. Among the things particularly praised by the Top Employers Institute are the roadmap for sustainability, employer branding, and a focus on diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.

DHL Group aims for at least 90 percent of all employees to work in workplaces certified as Top Employer or Great Place To Work by 2025.
