Before booking your package with DHL eCommerce, it is essential to learn about the Terms and Conditions of your shipment, especially for Prohibited and Restricted goods to ensure that your shipment is fully complied to avoid any delay delivery.
Domestic Shipments
Prohibited Goods (Goods you are NOT allowed to send)
- Fragile goods e.g. glass, porcelains

- Pungent smell goods e.g. Durian
- Inappropriate shipment packaging e.g. damaged packaging
Restricted Goods (Goods that can be sent but with some limitations or restrictions)
- All kinds of meat
- Vegetable, fruit, plant
- Fresh food, seafood, and ice-cream
- Processed goods or dry food with expiration date
- The products are packed into improper packaging
- Beverage products, all kinds of liquids
- All kind of musical instruments
- Sacred object, religious object
Dangerous Goods (Goods subject to hazardous goods shipping regulation)
- Any aerosols e.g. hair spray, deodorants
- Air bag inflators and modules, seat-belt pretensioners
- Batteries including lithium-ion, polymer, metal – alone and in or with electronic devices
- Carbon dioxide including in solid form e.g. dry ice
- Corrosives e.g. acids, corrosive paint and dyes, rust removers
- Environmental waste including used engine oil and used or damaged batteries
- Explosives or ammunition e.g. fireworks, flares, sparklers
- Flammable liquids and solids e.g. acetone, lighter fluid, solvent based paints, magnesium, potassium
- Gases including flammable, non-flammable, compressed and toxic gases e.g. fire extinguishers, scuba tanks
- Infectious and/or biological substances expected to contain pathogens or other agents e.g. bacteria, viruses, parasites, prions
- Matches, lighters or lighter refills including cigarette lighters containing petrol and butane lighters
- Oxidizing materials or organic peroxides e.g. disinfectants, hair dyes
- Pesticides, toxic herbicides and insecticides or poisons toxic substances
