DHL EXPRESS THAILAND OPENS SERVICEPOINT AT CENTRAL PLAZA WESTGATE TO TACKLE DEMAND SURGE

DHL Express, the world’s leading international express service provider, has opened a ServicePoint at Central Plaza Westgate in Bangyai, Nonthaburi to enhance cross-border delivery experiences for customers in Bangyai, Bangbuathong and Rattanathibet. The 69th DHL Express ServicePoint in Thailand caters to the demand surge in cross-border shipments, following the E-commerce growth, especially since the pandemic. It is part of the Walk-Click-Call customer touchpoint strategy to enhance service accessibility, and simplify international shipping experiences through physical service points, self-help transactional website and 24-7 call center.

Cross-border E-commerce in Asia Pacific continues to be a strong growth driver for DHL Express. Estimated to reach US$2.5 trillion by 2024, online retail in Asia Pacific is expected to get a boost as shoppers become increasingly comfortable with online and mobile shopping.

According to DHL Express Thailand, top outbound shipments from B2C and C2C shippers in Bangyai, Bangbuathong and Rattanathibet include dried and processed foods, garments, automotive accessories and personal shipments.

The new DHL Express ServicePoint is located at Central Plaza Westgate department store, Ground floor, Green Zone, opposite of the temporary Passport Office Bangyai. It opens daily from 10.30am to 8.00pm, allowing customers to deliver documents and parcels to more than 220 countries and territories around the world.

To celebrate the opening, DHL Express Thailand is offering a special giveaway for customers delivering international shipments at the Central Plaza Westgate ServicePoint by 31 May 2021, or while stocks last.
