This is linked to the average European retail price of diesel fuel including levies and taxes (EU Weekly Oil Bulletin, EU27 diesel fuel included).

How is the Surcharge Applied?

The fuel floater is applied to the tariff items related to transport and is calculated by comparing the monthly average of the data published by the EU Weekly Oil Bullettin - diesel value EU27 including taxes, with respect to the basic cost of diesel recorded in September 2021. The applicable index will follow the brackets shown in the table.

The fuel floater is added to any existing fixed fuel surcharges (unless otherwise agreed).
