The people around the Rhine area are known for their sociable mentality and open-mindedness. “En joode Zick” (a good time german slang) is also very important to us beyond our day-to-day work and we like to spend it together at great events.
Our location stands for many values. But especially for a strong community and tolerance. To strengthen this team spirit, we like to come together at a variety of events besides work.
Cologne Pride 2024
We look back on the fantastic Cologne Pride 2024 with joy and pride! It once again broke all records. Despite changeable weather, around 60,000 participants from 250 groups and 1.2 million spectators set a statement for diversity, tolerance and the importance of human rights. We were there again and contributed to a great and above all peaceful atmosphere with our performance.
Cologne Pride 2023
In 2023 our hometown Cologne was even more colourful, crowded and sunny than before. We were there for the second time to celebrate diversity and inclusion. More than 700 colleagues let the most beautiful city on the Rhine shine bright once again in the postal yellow and created lasting impressions. A great picture! We are proud to have been part of the Pride again.
Summer Party 2023
Can work and family be combined? Definitely at CGN HUB. We organised a big summer party at Blackfoot beach cologne under a new employee event concept. Sun, beach and joy... All colleagues were invited to come with their partners and children. Whether water sports, climbing garden, barbecue buffet or dance floor - there was something fun for everyone. It was an unforgettable day!
Appreciation week 2022
We know that motivated and engaged employees are critical to our success as a company. For this reason, it is crucial for us to maintain a good communication with our employees in various forms, including visual messages, and to prioritize recognition and to reward efforts.
Last June, as every year, we used the appreciation week as an opportunity to reward the efforts of all employees with special promotions and gifts.
Cologne Pride 2022
About 350 colleagues from Cologne and Bonn together spread the slogan "We proudly transport our values queerly throughout the country!” as a yellow unit across the CSD parade and were a real eye-catcher on two trucks. Among them were staff members of different origins, genders and sexual orientations.
With our first participation in Christopher Street Day in Cologne, we made a clear statement on behalf of the DPDHL Group. Diversity is what makes us tick and is part of our corporate culture - and we want to show it! #deliveredwithpride
Phantasialand 2022
