The DHL Headquarter Airport is an important global air freight hub in the DHL Express network. Every night, well-coordinated teams take responsibility for unloading, sorting and reloading hundreds of tons of freight in the shortest possible time. All employees work hand in hand to achieve this. Team Operations
The operations department (OPS) covers all direct processes and activities for handling shipments at the CGN HUB. Our employees in the warehouse generally have the most contact with the freight arriving daily, with the suppliers who bring our customers' goods safely to us and with the vehicles and aircraft that take our deliveries out into the world. Operations is our largest department and is therefore divided into different areas of responsibility: Network control group (NCG), ramp, hub control center (HCC), service development & support and sort.

The CGN HUB is the DHL hub at Cologne Bonn Airport. It is operated by DHL Airways GmbH, a subsidiary of the DHL Group, and is part of the DHL Express division.
