Customs 101 - part five

New package of support for SMEs

This week, new measures were announced set to support the UK’s small businesses. The package includes a scheme to help support disabled and female entrepreneurs get access to finance and business support, as well as a new Fair Payment Code to tackle late payments. These new measures intend to boost cash flow for SMEs, drive growth, and deliver more jobs. Small Business Minister Gareth Thomas said: “These measures will help remove barriers that are holding our small businesses back and ensure everyone has the backing they need to succeed.”
