At the end of January Chancellor Rachel Reeves announced plans for the Oxford-Cambridge Growth Corridor as part of a government pledge to support infrastructure improvements, estimating it could boost the UK economy by £78 billion by 2035. The pledge will also support new transport links, investment in AI, and housing developments.
