UK-India Trade deal talks relaunch
This week UK-India trade deal talks relaunched as Business and Trade Secretary, Jonathan Reynolds, visited New Delhi. India is expected to have the highest growth rate in the G20 and is set to become the world’s third biggest economy by 2028. The aim of the deal is to deliver economic growth by bringing the Indian market within closer reach for UK businesses. The Indian market presents increasing trade and career opportunities for UK businesses and a trade deal would accelerate the accessibility of these.
