DHL Express Ireland partnered with Junk Kouture for the Dublin City Final, showcasing youth creativity and sustainability through innovative fashion made from everyday junk. Our booth highlighted our commitment to a greener future.
On Tuesday, October 1st, DHL Express Ireland collaborated with Junk Kouture for the Dublin City Final, hosted by Junk Kouture at the RDS. Junk Kouture is the world’s leading youth sustainable fashion platform, challenging students across Ireland to create couture from everyday junk, promoting environmental consciousness and innovation. The outfits created by students for the Dublin City Final were stunning! The dedication and time spent on these creations were evident, with each design telling a unique story, providing insight into the students' inspiration and creativity.
We were delighted to connect with the decision-makers of tomorrow and the next generation of talent while showcasing our market-leading sustainable services at our DHL Express Ireland booth. Our sustainable photo booth was a hit, gathering everyone from judges, contestants, and hosts to the wonderful audience, allowing them to take lovely photos with their friends and families, striking their best poses! The booth was lively and engaging, filled with good vibes and fun, giving the audience and students a feel of what DHL Express Ireland is all about.
As the official logistics partner, it was fantastic to see so many young creatives telling their stories through sustainable fashion, perfectly aligning with our sustainability values. As the first logistics company to commit to net-zero emissions by 2050, we are excited to pave the way for a greener future for this inspiring next generation!
Congratulations to the students who made it to the world final! To everyone from Junk Kouture, including the hosts, students, and audiences, thank you for a great night. We hope that our DHL booth brought good memories, and don’t forget, we are the first logistics company to commit to net-zero emissions by 2050!
We look forward to future collaborations with Junk Kouture and other sustainability-focused initiatives as we continue to support and champion the creativity and innovation of the next generation.
