In Malaysia, public holidays on weekends impact operations differently depending on the state's official weekend.
Most states observe weekends on Saturday and Sunday, with operations Monday to Friday full days and half days on Saturdays. Kelantan, Kedah, Terengganu, and Langkawi observe weekends on Friday and Saturday, making Sunday a regular working day.
Holiday observance applies only to the state's working days. For instance, if Malaysia's Independence Day falls on a Sunday, no shipment services will be available in Kedah.
