Shipping cross-border can seem complex, and incorrect customs paperwork is one of the main causes of delays for SMEs shipping across borders.

To speed up international shipping and simplify customs transactions, DHL Express has developed My Global Trade Services, an intuitive, all-in-one portal.

 MyGTS is a free, user-friendly platform that will help you navigate all international shipping regulations, seamlessly. You can log in with your existing DHL Express Business Account or register a new MyGTS account to access:

  • Pre-shipment Planner: a dedicated tool to help your business comply with all import/export regulations and calculate Landed Cost.
  • Accurate Harmonized System Codes: no more guesswork; MyGTS leverages AI to give you the correct classification for your shipment every time, making customs clearance faster. Search for HS codes using keywords or the code directory.
  • Landed Cost for goods in any country: calculate your product cost, duties & taxes, and freight charges to enhance your pricing strategy and give your customers transparency over shipping fees – which builds trust with your business.  
  • Guidance on each country’s import and export requirements before you ship – no more goods held up at borders!
  • All the documents you’ll need for fast and easy customs clearance.
  • A product catalog feature – where you can save past searches, product details and tariff codes for quicker repeat shipping.

DHL Express can arrange for the shipper or a third party to be billed for any dutiesand taxes payable at destination, rather than the receiver of the shipment being billed. Charges apply whenever the shipper requests that duties, taxes or other regulatory fees be billed outside of the destination country.

If your business needs a dedicated vehicle to collect or deliver unusual shipments or a pickup or delivery outside normal business hours, we can arrange this for you.

This is a convenient, fast and reliable service for seasonal or irregular shipments that require extra resources for their preparation. DHL manages the entire process of waybill preparation, content selection, labelling and packaging, then sends the shipments to the designated domestic or international addresses.

We offer Saturday delivery services to key cities in more than 70 countries

We recommend this comprehensive protection for your valuable or personal shipments, giving you peace of mind in the unlikely event of physical damage or loss.

If you are sending valuable documents such as passports, visa applications or regulatory certificates you can extend the DHL standard liability with this service. It provides coverage and compensation in the case of loss or damage.

If you are sending sensitive documents or high value contents you can request DHL to obtain a direct signature from the consignee or a representative at the delivery address. DHL will ensure your shipment alternative address.

Customers shipping to a home or private residence can activate specific delivery options by designating the delivery address as residential. For such shipments, DHL Express will proactively notify the receiver via email or SMS about the shipment's progress. Receiver scan then select the most suitable delivery option on the On Demand Delivery website.

This service is for customers who need a reliable method to calculate their annual carbon emissions at a shipment level and subsequently offset these emissions through approved environmental programs. The whole process is verified annually by an independent body accredited by the United Nations. DHL can also provide reports for either a high level estimate or a detailed carbon footprint.

This applies when a customer requests a change of defined billing information on an already issued invoice, and which will result in a reissuing of the invoice and, in case of an account change, crediting of the old account and debiting of the new.
