DHL PARCEL UK COMPLETES REBRAND AS IT CONFIRMS PLANS TO TAKE OVER 3,500 PARCEL SHOPS
Oct 29, 2018
DHL Parcel UK has reached an agreement with Pass My Parcel to take over their 3,500 ServicePoints across the UK to meet increased consumer demand for convenient parcel delivery options. The company will now begin to utilise the existing Pass My Parcel network, which will be branded as DHL ServicePoints until it fully takes over the network in June 2019.
With over half of UK households located within a ten-minute journey of a ServicePoint and the collection service available seven days a week, the new service offers the flexibility that today's online shoppers demand. Customers will never have to miss a delivery again, as they now have the ability to rearrange their delivery to their local ServicePoint when the driver is en-route or even after their delivery has been attempted.
Formerly UK Mail, the company has now also completed its rebrand and name change to DHL Parcel UK, following its acquisition by DHL Group in December 2016.
DHL Parcel UK CEO Peter Fuller says: Rebranding to DHL Parcel UK is a significant milestone in our company's history and the start of something new for all our people, customers and partners. The move to take over Pass My Parcel's network of parcel shops is all part of our growth plans and allows us to improve our delivery options even further, as we will now look to provide return and drop off solutions at the local DHL ServicePoints.
As part of the rebrand a new website and dedicated social channels have also launched and the company's network has now been integrated with the DHL Group, enabling DHL Parcel UK's international products offerings to significantly improve and further support businesses looking to reach customers across Europe and Worldwide.
