COVENTRY HUB HITS MILESTONE OF 10MILLION PARCELS SORTED

DHL eCommerce UK’s new hub in Coventry has today reached a significant milestone: it has processed its 10 millionth parcel!  

The start of operations in August 2024 went under the radar of many, making this achievement all the more impressive. It underscores the hub’s importance in facilitating the growth of the ecommerce sector.

The new hub has been handling the ever-increasing volume of ecommerce shipments. Its state-of-the-art infrastructure, advanced technology, and efficient processes have enabled it to process millions of parcels, ensuring speedy and reliable deliveries for customers across the UK.

It’s been designed to the highest environmental standards, through features such as 7,000m² of solar panels, EV charging stations for cars and LGVs, LED lighting and landscaping to protect the natural biodiversity of the area.

DHL eCommerce UK is planning to celebrate the opening of the new hub in February 2025. This event will bring together key stakeholders, industry leaders, and DHL Group executives to reflect on the hub's achievements and showcase its cutting-edge facilities.  The event will also serve as an opportunity to highlight DHL's commitment to supporting the ecommerce sector in the UK, to showcase the strengths of DHL’s cross-BU collaboration, and to strengthen partnerships with customers and stakeholders.
