FUEL AND ROAD SURCHARGE
The fuel and road surcharge is a surcharge applied in domestic and international transport, added to the basic net price of each shipment.
The fee is calculated based on the wholesale prices of Ekodiesel diesel oil, published by Polski Koncern Naftowy Orlen S.A.
As fuel prices fluctuate, the toll is indexed monthly and its update is published no later than the first day of the month in which it is applicable.
From 1st April 2022, a distinction was introduced for DHL eCommerce fuel and road charges for shipments weighing up to 31.5kg and above 31.5kg.
DHL eCommerce domestic and international courier services:
December 2024
shipments up to 31.5 kg - fee: 19.50%
shipments over 31.5 kg - fee: 29.40%
November 2024
shipments up to 31.5 kg - fee: 19.00%
shipments over 31.5 kg - fee: 28.60%
October 2024

Index Methodology:
The index for a given month is determined on the basis of the arithmetic mean of prices from the first two weeks of the previous month, related to the published index value table:
DHL eCommerce is entitled to change the fuel and road charge rate and how it is charged by posting the fuel and road charge rate on the official DHL eCommerce website.
